Your career at Mitie – where there truly are no limits to your future

At Mitie, we want to offer all colleagues the opportunity to develop and grow with our business, by helping you to take control of your own career journey and to reach your full potential.

In order to support this, we are launching our brand new MyCareer Journey Toolkit.

What is the MyCareer Journey Toolkit?

The toolkit has been designed to help you to plan your career here at Mitie and to help your manager to support you along the way.

The toolkit will help you to understand and explore how you can thrive in your current role and beyond – considering both what you do and how you do it. It will help you to understand how you can move your career in whatever direction you want to take it- from being an expert in what you do now and progressing in your current field, to taking a leap sideways to try a completely new role in a different part of the business.

It has been designed so that you can use it independently and with the support of your line manager as part of your regular Mi-Review chat. It’s there to help you make confident choices about your future here at Mitie.

The Mitie Career Band Framework

We’ve also heard from you through Upload that you would like to better understand Mitie’s business structure and where your role fits in. As a result, in addition to the MyCareer Journey toolkit, we will shortly be introducing the Career Band Framework.

This framework provides a clear definition of each Mitie Job grouping and where it sits in the wider business structure. This, together with the MyCareer Journey toolkit will help you to understand how you can identify your strengths, develop your career and move around our organisation.

You will be able to view your Mitie Job and band on People Hub from 1^st February 2023. In the meantime, please take the time to review the toolkit and let us know what you think through this feedback form.
