We’re ‘Real IT Award’ winners!

We’re delighted to announce that we’re the winners of two Real IT Awards!

In one of the biggest highlights of the IT calendar, the Corporate IT Forum’s ‘Real IT Awards’ (RITAs) are a hugely popular industry awards celebrating teams and organisations that drive increased value, innovation and business success through IT.

We’re delighted to have won two awards at this prestigious event:

  • Mozaic and IoT for the category “Turning Data into Insights”
  • Esme AI Chatbot for the category “Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Project of the Year”

The RITAs are designed to celebrate the hard work and dedication of innovative IT teams across the country. This year was the biggest Real IT Awards ever, with over 200 submissions from almost 75 organisations including prestigious bluechip companies and leading service providers such as Pepsico, Cisco, Fujitsu, Centrica, BP, Cognizant, Capgemini, Vodafone, HMRC, Royal Mail, Network Rail, and Toyota.

This year, the Mitie IT and MI team entered the awards for the first time. We were shortlisted in four categories including operational efficiency and project of the team and we won in two. This is a fantastic achievement. Well done to everyone involved in delivering the projects and pulling the material together for nominations including Ajwad Ali, Ben Heasman, Colby Sipson, David Hulme, Jag Sangha​​​​​​​, Anshul Paliwal, Pankaj Arora, Trevor Bramwell, Goutam Joshi, Liz Holder, Sarah McGlathery and Rachel Clark.
