Article 1 March 2023 Team Talk Live takes Manchester! Day 2 of Team Talk Live saw over 250 colleagues join us in person at the Co-Op’s head office in Angel Square, Manchester. Colleagues met the MGX, explored our market stalls, and heard from CEO Phil Bentley on what’s next for our business. Colleagues learning about all the things that make Mitie a Great Place to Work- from benefits and support, learning and development opportunities, our Giving Back programme and all the work of our ED&I networks. Alice Woodwark, Managing Director for Communities, also had the privilege of interviewing two of our Mitie colleagues- Jay McQuilty and Matt Corner, about their story and Mitie journey. We get to look after some amazing buildings at Mitie. What made yesterday really special is that we got to experience what our customers experience, walking into Co-Op’s HQ, which is a cleaned and well-maintained by our Mitie colleagues, we were greeted by our friendly front of house colleagues and guarded by our incredible security team. Huge thanks to the Mitie team at the Co-Op! Technical Services also held their Team Talk Live Stream, Emma Shaw, Managing Director, Esoteric, delivered her Gazelle session and from the TSOC we ran special late-night Team Talk Live show, so that our colleagues who work shifts/ nights could join.
