Article 2 March 2023 Team Talk Live makes a splash in Bath! It’s day 4, and that means Team Talk Live arrived in Bath! Over 150 colleagues joined us at the Bath Spa hotel today. Hosted by our Chief People Officer Jas Hudson, the crowd heard from our CEO Phil Bentley on our successes over the last year and what’s next for our business. Alice Woodwark, Managing Director for Communities spoke to Mollie Green, Head of the Mitie Foundation and Nick Carter Commercial Director and Lead of the Proud to Be network who shared their story and their career journey here at Mitie. “There are no boundaries to where you can go with your career at Mitie. I started as a traffic warden on a Covid testing centre and now I’m Head of the Mitie Foundation.” Mollie Green Phil also congratulated colleague Gareth Blore for 39 years’ service today! Congratulations Gareth! Virtually, it was the CG&D’s time to shine, with the senior leadership team sharing what CG&D do and what’s next for Central Government and Defence. Kevin Sankar spoke to us in on the power of Rock and how his team will be electrifying the country’s net zero ambitions. In the last session of the day, we explored the true ‘cost of staying silent’, with Oliver Loach and Sim Sian. Including questions such as what’s the impact on our colleagues, our customers and our communities, when we don’t call out wrongdoing.
