Article 28 June 2022 Showcasing Intelligence Services at the Northampton iSOC On Wednesday 22 June, our Intelligence Services division welcomed Mitie’s SAM (Strategic Account Manager) community to the Northampton iSOC for a special event, showcasing Mitie Intelligence Services through a series of presentations and interactive sessions. The event kicked off with an introduction to our Intelligence Services division and its three key pillars – the Intelligence Hub, Intelligence Technology, and Esoteric’s TSCM (Technical Surveillance Counter Measures) and Counter-Espionage capabilities. The event then focused on our Intelligence Hub and iSOC facilities and how they enable our customers to take proactive action to mitigate risks and build a robust, risk-based security strategy. Attendees split into separate groups for a series of tours and immersive learning sessions, each lasting around 30 minutes and focusing on the M&S SOC & Intelligence Hub, TSCM immersion, and a demonstration of our Merlin business intelligence software. Protect Duty was the next topic of interest – a new piece of government legislation designed to provide better protection from terrorism for the British public. This session provided valuable insight into the upcoming measures, when we can expect them to come into force, who will be impacted, and the challenges we can expect to face as a result of these new requirements. The day finished up with a Q&A session and a buffet lunch in the Northampton iSOC’s collaboration area. The team thank everyone who attended and made the event such a success.
