People Hub – the lowdown

We’re proud of our people and through People Hub, our integrated HR system, we give you the tools to be exceptional every day. Make sure you know how to use it and check your details are up to date so you can get the most out of it!

What is People Hub?
People Hub is our central self-service people system. It allows you to perform key HR activities such as:
• Update your personal information
• View your payslip
• Book annual leave (salaried colleagues only)
• Access policies and procedures
• Search for internal vacancies
• Raise an ‘Ask HR’ ticket for further support

From People Hub you can link through to other company systems that may require additional sign-ins for security reasons. These include our Learning Hub for access to online L&D courses, and Celebration Hub for access to our wide variety of benefits, as well as access to any travel and expense systems.

How do I access People Hub?

Your username is your unique employee number provided to you when you joined (please note this is not the same as your WP+ number if you have one). If you’re unsure of your username, please click on the question mark icon next to the username field on People Hub, enter your email address and a notification will be sent directly to you.

The first time you use the system a password will be emailed to you. You can then change it to a secure one of your own.

My People Hub
You are responsible for maintaining your own personal information in People Hub. This can be done quickly and easily by clicking on the ‘Update My Details’ tile on the homepage and changing any of the sections that include a pencil icon.

It’s important that key personal information such as your home address and email address are up to date so that any business communication, including Mitie Stars and Long Service Award certificates, can be sent to you. This also allows for any notifications from the system to be sent to you, including password re-set links.
