Mitie Women Can Month Simon Kirkpatrick, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Sponsor Mitie Women Can Network International Women’s Day takes place on 8 March annually around the globe. At Mitie, this means a month of celebrating the exceptional women who go above and beyond to deliver for our clients, bring fresh thinking and challenge the status quo, and who make a positive difference to our communities day in day out. The theme of International Women’s Day this year is #EmbraceEquity, calling on us to stand together to champion a fair and equal world/workspace/culture, that actively promotes and supports women in all aspects of life. At Mitie, we have made good progress against our Gender Equality Agenda, but we recognise there is still more to do. International Women’s Day gives us a platform to encourage open and honest discussions as well as implement tangible actions to address gender inequality in the workplace.
