Meet one of our Mitie Stars winners this month, Jo Garner

Jo Garner, Manager at Inland Border Facilities, was awarded two stars this month for her hard work and dedication and turning around the running of the Holyhead IBF.

Four months ago, Jo was put forward to be Operations Manager at Holyhead IBF to turn around the underachieving site. In four months, Jo put in place new processes, dealt with the high level of staff turnover and ensured the site was achieving its KPIs.

Jo received one Star for her work in turning around Holyhead and the other for her continued hard work and dedication.

Jo receiving her Star!

Site Security Operations Manager John Fritton said:

Jo is an exceptional colleague who, in the 18 months that we have worked together, has demonstrated the drive, determination, commitment, skills and knowledge that have enabled her to move rapidly within the business to her current position.

“During the last few months Jo has relocated to support the Holyhead IBF operation, fulfilling the role of Operations Manager, using the experience she has gained at Warrington IBF to reset the expectations, delivery and performance of her Mitie Team.

“I have every confidence that Jo’s skill set will continue to see her progress within Mitie and I would conclude by saying that it has been a pleasure to have Jo as part of the Team at Warrington and I know she will continue to espouse the Mitie values to the benefit of her colleagues, clients and Mitie.”

Jo said:

“I am proud to be receiving the recognition for the hard work I’ve put in whilst working at Holyhead.”

Well done Jo for the great work!
