Article 7 December 2022 MAG- taking action on your feedback in Upload Since the latest Upload – Mitie’s employee engagement survey- lots of work has been taking place across the business to put your voice and feedback into action. On the Manchester Airport Group (MAG) account, feedback from colleagues that they wanted more in terms of communication, better recognition of colleagues who work hard, more information about benefits and support available to Mitie colleagues and better training for frontline colleagues to better meet the needs of the client. The team on the MAG account have since put in place a number of things to deliver on this. This includes: Frontline colleagues had had Basic Core Skills trainingFrontline colleagues provided with better equipment and replacements for when things breakAn employee forum set up quarterly which elected representatives attend from a cross the account to discuss latest issues and concernsAn employee of the month award set upA new employee newsletter sent quarterly to update all those working on the account about the latest news in Mitie and on the account, health and safety information, as well as information about benefits and support available to Mitie employees such as MiDeals. Colleagues on the account receive certificates for completing training and employee of the month at the engagement sessions Nav Kalley, Director of Transport & Aviation on the account said: “Since becoming involved with this contract it became obvious very quickly that, whilst a number of remedial streams were in place to address the challenge of poor colleague engagement, there was still more we could do. I really wanted to get our message across – that we were absolutely ‘One Mitie’ and the great recovery work at the airport was as the result of the very hard work of our frontline colleagues. Through the work that Gill had started, we were able to build on getting our colleagues more engagement and already we are starting to get positive feedback on our programme to getting everyone feel valued and having a voice.” MyVoice At Mitie, everyone’s voice deserves to be heard.
