The Parents & Carers Network are hosting an inspiring event to celebrate Young Careers Action Day! Are you ready for a special event that will leave you feeling inspired and motivated? On March 16th, the Parent and Carers Network is hosting a Young Carers Day event that you won’t want to miss! This day recognises and celebrates the incredible contributions of young carers, who work tirelessly to support their loved ones through challenging times. We’re thrilled to have Luella Goold, from the Children’s Society join us as a guest speaker. Her inspiring words and stories are sure to uplift and empower us all. Did you know that there are more than 800,000 young carers in the UK alone, and many more between the ages of 18 -25 years? These selfless individuals are an essential part of our workforce, taking on significant caring responsibilities for family members or friends who are ill, disabled or have a mental health condition. It’s time we shine a light on their incredible work, show our appreciation and understand how we can better support them.
