Jenny Duvalier visits the BBC

Jennifer Duvalier is Mitie’s Non-Executive Director, responsible for ensuring that the ‘colleague voice’ is considered in Board discussions and decisions.

Over the past 12 months, she’s been out and about visiting many of you up and down the country both virtually and in-person where possible to hear about your experiences of working at Mitie.

Jenny recently visited BBC Broadcasting House to spend time with our colleagues working a variety of roles on the contract. She spent the day with a tour of the building (including the One Show studio, Radio 1 and BBC Asia network, and the BBC Radio Theatre and spoke to colleagues working on the contract.

Jenny also met BBC staff who work behind the scenes, and heard how Mitie colleagues have been supporting them.

The visit finished with a Q&A with some of our frontline colleagues to discuss what works well and what could be improved to make Mitie a Great Place to work.

“I truly enjoy the opportunity to hear directly from you on what you value about working for Mitie and hearing about your roles, what you would like to be different, and all your ideas for improving the way Mitie operates to support our customers”

“I always comes away buzzing with energy and ideas after these sessions, and I pass this onto the Board so that they can ensure the voice of Mitie’s people is heard and reflected in the Board’s work.”
