Article 6 February 2023 It’s National Apprenticeship Week! This week is National Apprenticeship Week – a fantastic opportunity to celebrate excellence in apprenticeships at Mitie, and the value that they can bring to our colleagues learning and development journey. At Mitie, we are proud to be recognised as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Provider, which has only cemented the ongoing commitment to develop our future talent pipeline and investment in our people. With over 1,100 apprentices currently employed across a variety of roles in Mitie, we hope to keep building upon this. This week, we are sharing the stories and experiences of our apprentices, so that you can have a first-hand insight into the apprenticeship path. Previously people have held the opinion that an apprenticeship is purely meant for school leavers, or at the early stages of their career. The truth of this matter is quite different; apprenticeships also offer an incredible opportunity to upskill the career of existing colleagues, offering a route to develop new skills.
