Introducing Count on Mitie, the next phase

It’s been a very busy year for Count Me In, our Diversity & Inclusion learning campaign. Over the year we’ve taken part in several activities and had so many thought-provoking conversations. Our programme has been so transformational that we’ve won two major awards and been nominated for several others, and it’s all because of your willingness to make Mitie a great place to work.

Before we fully launch into the Count on Mitie phase, we thought it would be a good idea to pause, reflect and take stock of all we’ve learnt so far with this mini team task, the Count Me In Check In.

Introducing our next phase, Count on Mitie

Diversity & Inclusion is more than policies, programmes, or headcounts. In this new phase we’re exploring how we can work collectively as a company to help colleagues feel they belong, that their unique talents matter and that their individual needs are cared for by their teams and leaders.

We’ll look at the impact of our inclusive culture on our customers and the wider community. We’ll work towards a better understanding of the different ways we can speak up, and we’ll look at what policies we have in place if you need them. And, last but not least, we’ll be asking you to share the acts of kindness you have received and how you’ve been able to pass kindness onto others.
