Article 30 August 2022 Come to Mitie Parents and Carers Network’s events throughout August and September At Mitie, we celebrate parenthood and understand the many challenges faced by parents and carers. Parents and Carers Month 2022, which runs from 29 August to 23 September, is focused on supporting our colleagues with parenting and caring responsibilities. Mitie’s Parents and Carers Network actively promotes and champions all our parents and carers – offering our colleagues a place to discuss, share, support, and even celebrate! Over the next month, it is leading events to support colleagues and raise awareness of key parenting and caring issues, such as the impact on work/life balance for colleagues who are juggling work, care and family commitments. Spread the word If you are a parent or carer, come to one of our events to find out more, share your story and find out how Mitie can support you – and how you can support your colleagues. And If you’re a line manager, why not come along to better understand how you can support your team? All our Mitie colleagues can take part in events throughout the month. Check out our events below, save the date, share – and come along. “From our Frontline Heroes to Mitie’s Executive Team, we recognise and appreciate the many challenges our working parents and carers face, particularly at this time of year – juggling work and childcare, the cost of holiday entertainment or kids clubs, and caring for family and friends. I know first-hand how difficult it can be – and want to ensure our parents and carer colleagues have access to the right sort of support,” says Alice Woodwark, Managing Director, Communities and MGX Sponsor of Parents and Carers Network. Join the Parents and Carers Network By joining the Mitie Parents and Carers Network today you can be part of our conversation. Whatever the challenge, the network can provide advice and support – and point you to the right policies and processes Mitie offers to support working parents and carers. Parents and Carers is one of Mitie’s six diversity and inclusion networks. To join this network and any of the others, please complete our diversity networks form.
