Wellbeing is about Mitie being a great place to work, where people do rewarding and engaging work and are valued and recognised for the contribution they make. Mitie provide a huge array of support services, advice and guidance to help our people stay well and to provide the care and support that they need to maintain their wellbeing.

As a People manager you play a vital role in maintaining and promoting the health and wellbeing of your team.

Top tips

  • Role model health and wellbeing, look after yourself as this will encourage and give permission for people to look after themselves
  • Be authentic and honest, it is ok not to be ok, share when you are having a bad day.
  • Give others and yourself time to rest and recover, every athlete knows that rest and recovery helps them perform at their best.
  • Remember to recognise and thank people for the work they do, we all want to feel valued and respected
