Article 18 August 2022 Board members visit Mitie Telecoms Earlier this week, Jenny Duvalier, Non-Executive Director and Derek Mapp, Chairman of Board for Mitie visited Mitie Telecoms in Tewkesbury to hear from our colleagues working there. Jenny and Derek met with colleagues from across Mitie Telecoms in a range of different roles, from graduate engineers to administrators, to hear about what is working well at Mitie and what could be improved. They also met with Andy Train, Managing Director for Mitie Telecoms and other members of the SLT, to hear more about how the transition into Mitie Telecoms has been following the acquisitions of 8point8, 8Point8 Training and Vantage Solutions and DAEL Ventures UK, and its subsidiaries DAEL Telecom, JB Towers and JISTICS. Jenny Duvalier said: “It is so important for other board members and I to hear directly from colleagues working at Mitie about what you value about working for Mitie but also what can be improved to make your working lives better. “We take the feedback you give us really seriously and ideas for improvements are fed back into the board. I always feel really energised when I leave about what is going well but also taking great ideas with me for what can be improved. Thank you so much to our brilliant colleagues at Mitie Telecoms for hosting us!” Jenny and Derek with the SLT Jenny Duvalier is responsible for ensuring that the ‘colleague voice’ is considered in Board discussions and decisions. Over the last 12 months she has been out visiting many of you up and down the country both virtually and in-person where possible to hear about your experiences of working at Mitie. Jenny and other board members will continue to do this over the next 12 months and will be visiting lots of different parts of Mitie.
